The Mayor Making ceremony 2021 was held at the Edge, Wigan, to welcome Golborne and Lowton West councillor, Yvonne Klieve, as the new Mayor of Wigan with her husband, Mark, as the mayor’s consort, taking over from Coun Steve Dawber and consort Oliver Waite, after two-years in the role due to the pandemic.
