Teenage girl found hanged at park

The body of a young girl has been found in a Blackpool park, police have confirmed.

The 17-year-old was found hanging at Boundary Park, Layton, just after 8am.

Emergency services were called and the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances.

The girl’s family has been informed.
