Teenager admits drug offences
A Wigan teenager has been warned he faces a custodial sentence after admitting a string of drug offences.
Bradley Edwards pleaded guilty to eight offences involving possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply and offering to supply those drugs and MDMA on dates between 10 March and December 22 last year. The 19-year-old, of Kendrick Place, Scholes, was further remanded on bail by Liverpool Crown Court until July 28 to enable a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Judge Andrew Menary, QC, who read a letter from Edwards’s father about the background to his offending, warned him that the most likely outcome for such offences is a custodial sentence and he should not see the fact he was being granted bail as an indication about sentence.
