There are 15 road closures planned in and around Wigan over the coming weeks, for work which includes installing electric connections, assessing a railway bridge and replacing frames and covers.
Some work is only expected to last for a few hours, but others will take days.

Askwith Road, Hindley Green, will be closed from noon until 4pm on Wednesday, November 11 for a replacement frame and cover. The alternative route for traffic is Park Road and Atherton Road. | Google Street View

An assessment of the bridge on Frog Lane in Wigan means the road will be closed from 10pm on Saturday, November 21 to 6.30am on Sunday, November 22 and from 10pm on Friday, November 27 to 6.30am on Saturday, November 28.
