Emergency services attend crash involving two cars in Wigan town centre

Emergency services have been called to a collision in Wigan town centre.

Police cars, fire engines and ambulances were all seen outside Wigan and Leigh College, on Parsons Walk, just after noon on Friday.

They responded to reports of a crash between two cars.

A fire service spokesman said a man and a woman had got out of the vehicles before crews arrived.

They were assessed by paramedics but were not taken to hospital.

Firefighters made the cars safe.
