Tributes after Charlie, 4, loses cancer battle
Four-year-old Charlie Taylor, from Leigh, had been receiving treatment since being diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of childhood cancer, last year.
His family had been rasing money in the hope of sending Charlie abroad for treatment to prolong his life but announced that he had died on Tuesday.

Hide AdA statement on social media read: “It’s with a heavy heart and great sadness to inform you that little Charlie passed away yesterday. Charlie was loved from the day he was born and his memory will always be with us.
“We ask that you respect the families privacy at this time but we do welcome your support messages below, which the family will read once they are ready.
“Charlie’s family are extremely grateful for everyone’s support over these passed few months and they thank you sincerely.”
Thousands of people have paid tribute to Charlie on a page set up by his family to follow his progress.
