Two-car smash
A WOMAN suffered minor injuries following a road traffic collision in a busy road in Wigan.
Emergency services were called to Old Road, in Ashton, at 11.30am on Sunday after a yellow Fiat Punto and a Volkswagen Up collided.
It had been reported a woman was trapped in the Punto but when fire crews arrived, she was out of the car, but complained of neck, back and arm pain.
She was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The other driver also reported minor injuries.
