We’ve slowed down our footage of the start of the race - can you spot yourself tearing past?
There were 2,100 people in the half marathon, with 1,200 people in the 5km race and hundreds of children and parents in the family mile.

Hide AdThe routes showcased some of the borough’s best-known places, including Mesnes Park, the DW Stadium, Wigan Pier and Haigh Hall.


The event was organised by Joining Jack and the races were officially started by nine-year-old Jack Johnson - the inspiration behind the Wigan-based charity funding research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
