Weather warning after crashes on motorway in Wigan
Drivers are being urged to take care after several motorway crashes in wintry weather.
North West Motorway Police have reported many incidents across the region this morning, including "numerous" between junctions 25 and 27 of the M6 in Wigan.
Wintry weather conditions, including snow in some areas, are said to have contributed to the problems.
