Wigan firefighters rescue baby boy from locked car

Firefighters came to the rescue of a baby boy who became trapped inside a locked car.

The seven-month-old tot's grandmother left the keys on a front seat in the vehicle and the door automatically locked when it was closed.

A fire engine from Wigan went to Kitt Green Road at 10am on Sunday and crews used a coat hanger to get to the keys.

The boy was rescued just 10 minutes after the door was locked.
