Wigan welcomed its first major Vegan Festival as hundreds of visitors gathered at The Brick Community Stadium to celebrate plant-based food, ethical living and independent businesses.
The event was organised by Vegan Events UK and brought together around 60 stalls showcasing artisan products, world street food, cruelty-free beauty, ethical fashion and a wide range of independent vegan businesses from across the North West and beyond.
Visitors were able to sample street food inspired by cuisines from around the globe, discover locally made and artisan produce, and browse a selection of ethical and cruelty-free products.
The event also offered plenty of opportunities for visitors to learn more about veganism and plant-based living, with talks and workshops taking place throughout the day.
