The Crystal Maze is looking for new contestants

The ultimate time-travelling game show, The Crystal Maze, is returning for a new season on Channel 4 and is looking for new teams to take part.

Like the original hit TV show, contestants will have to complete a set of challenges within a labyrinth that consists of four time zones in a bid to reach The Crystal Dome.

Richard Ayoade will also return to his role as Maze Master and help intrepid adventurers conquer the maze to win a prize. Just don't try to hug him.

Channel 4

Teams must be made up of a Captain and Vice Captain, as well as three other players. There also needs to be a stand by player.

Contestants must also be aged over 18.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 4th March and interested contestants can apply via the Channel 4 website.
