Zermatt sits in the shadow of the infamous Matterhorn and, being car-free, it provides a truly peaceful spot to escape the hustle and bustle, with skiing available 365 days of the year thanks to its glaciated terrain.

The villages of Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren form part of the Jungfrau Ski Region, offering access to more than 200m of slopes, while Wengen provides a good mixture of terrain for a range of skill levels, including the famous Lauberhorn downhill slope - the longest on the World Cup circuit.

How to apply

If you are interested in the role, you can enter for a chance to win the opportunity via the Altitude Ski School website.

Entry for the position is now open and will close on 4 January 2021, with the winner to be chosen at random by the school.

The role is open to anyone aged 18 or over and there is a limit of one entry per person.

The winner will be announced on 5 January 2021 on Altitude’s social media pages.
