Blackburn Rovers 1-3 Leeds United

Leeds United recovered from a midweek wobble to secure a resounding win against Blackburn, with Kalvin Phillips’ soaring free-kick the pick of the goals.

This Leeds fan noticed the Rovers ‘crowdie’ contingent was looking a little on the sparse side…

Charlton 0-1 Millwall

The Lions kept their play-off hopes alive with a vital win at the Valley, with Jake Cooper’s clinical late rebounded effort separating the two sides.

It’s safe to say the in-demand defender is a popular chap at The Den…

Stoke City 4-0 Barnsley

The Potters ended their dire run of form with a much-needed, resounding win over Barnsley to keep their hopes of second tier survival alive.

Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood was the toast of football press after he dazzled against Bournemouth, but this Stoke fan reckons Google know better…

Luton Town 0-5 Reading

Oh boy, this was an afternoon for Luton to forget. The Royals ran rampant at Kenilworth road, going three goals up before the break before finishing the job in the second half

This Hatters fan’s tongue-in-cheek comment sums up the consensus over the eye-watering scoreline.

Huddersfield Town 0-0 Preston North End

The Lilywhites’ push for promotion took another blow over the weekend, as they played out a goalless draw with Huddersfield Town that would, arguably, stand shoulder to shoulder with ‘Stars Wars: Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace’ in terms of tedious disappointments.

Chris Kamara was not a happy chappy, either…

Fulham 1-0 Birmingham City

The Cottagers left it awfully late to bag the win against the Blues, as Josh Onomah sparked wild scenes in the homes of many a Fulham fan.

This one took things a little too far…

Bristol City 0-1 Cardiff City

The Robins’ four losses on the trot have all but ended their push for the play-offs, with their late loss to the Bluebirds seeing Lee Johnson sacked.

This City fan is was in upbeat spirits, at least.

Brentford 3-0 Wigan Athletic

The Bees’ march towards the automatic promotion spots continued, as they earned a 3-0 win over the Latics - a result which ended Paul Cook’s side’s nine-game unbeaten run.

Chelsea-linked forward Said Benrahma scored an impressive hat-trick, which prompted the Bees’ rather amusing post-match poll.

Derby County 1-1 Nottingham Forest

Derby County scraped a draw against their arch-rivals at Pride Park, thanks to Chris Martin’s 98th (ninety-eighth!) minute equaliser.

There was plenty of banter between the rival fans on Twitter, and this Forest fan reckoned 22-year-old Ryan Yates got the better of ex-England star Wayne Rooney.

West Bromwich Albion 4-2 Hull City

The Baggies threw away two leads in the game, but eventually stormed to a comfortable victory against the struggling Tigers.

Star loanee Matheus Pereira was on fire again, and his stats for the season are looking mighty impressive, it must be said.
