Brighton starlet becomes latest Wigan Athletic 'signing'
Brighton loanee Jan Mlakar has become the latest Wigan Athletic player to agree a contract extension until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old Slovenian forward arrived in January, on a deal until June 30, but has extended his stay until midnight on July 22 to cover the last eight games of the campaign.
Earlier in the week Danny Fox, Anthony Pilkington, Lewis Macleod, Gary Roberts and Michael Jacobs all agreed to stay on beyond their initial contracts, while loan trio Kieran Dowell, Alex Dobre and Leon Balogun will also stay for the last eight games, and Joe Garner has signed a new one-year deal.
Latics remain in communication with Chey Dunkley with regards to a new contract.
Dujon Sterling’s loan from Chelsea has now finished, and he returns to Stamford Bridge.
