“We want to build our club around the people, places and stories that have shaped Wigan, and it would be impossible to tell that story without recognising the importance of coal mining to our town,” said Latics managing director Sarah Guilfoyle.
“We have been delighted with the response to our new home kit, which has already sold twice as many shirts as at this point last year. We hope supporters embrace the away kit and the important local story behind it in the same way.”
