Goalkeeper leaves Wigan Athletic

Wigan Athletic have allowed young goalkeeper Daniel Gyollai to join Peterborough United on a permanent deal.

The 23-year-old Hungarian only joined Latics last summer from Stoke City and, although appearing on the bench for the first time on occasion, never made a full appearance.

He featured for Latics’ development squad on a number of occasions.

"We wish Dan well in his future career," the club commented in a statement.

Latics still have David Marshall, Jamie Jones and Wales Under-21 international Owen Evans on the goalkeeping roster.
