Hunt hails '˜top-class' Wigan Athletic
As Hunt himself admitted in Thursday’s Wigan Post, he still harboured playing ambitions despite turning 35 last December.

“Everyone has been nothing but top class with me and I will always have a place in my heart for each and every one of you.
“If I can every do anything in the future to help, you all know where I am!”
Despite only being at the DW for a single season, the ex-Ireland international clearly made an impression on the dressing room.

Chairman David Sharpe added: “You’ve been a pleasure to have at the club. In only a short space of time you made a big impact on everyone. Wishing you all the luck in your next career move!”
