'˜I never thought Latics would be a threat under Joyce'
Warnock’s Cardiff City were just a point above Wigan Athletic when ex-Manchester United youth coach Joyce took charge in November.
They have since climbed to 13th while Latics remain in the bottom-three, with just nine games to go – including the visit of Cardiff next month.

Hide Ad“No disrespect but when Wigan appointed him, I was delighted,” Warnock told BBC Radio Wales.
“I didn’t think they were going to be a threat to us.
“I like Warren but you can’t just put someone into the Championship who’s never been there - it’s nothing like youth football.”
Graham Barrow will be at the helm for the rest of the season following the sacking of Joyce yesterday.
