Injury blow for on-loan Wigan Athletic man

It could even affect whether Wednesday try to extend his loan beyond the original cut-off of June 30, with the campaign now running into July.

Windass has scored two goals in four appearances for Wednesday, having scored four times for Latics in the first half of the season.
