Midfielder deal done for Wigan Athletic
Dan Gardner will stay with Wigan Athletic for the rest of the season after extending his deal at the DW.
The 30-year-old signed a short-term deal with Latics in September after injuries had resulted in him missing over 12 months of football.
After building his match fitness, the midfielder has played an important role for Leam Richardson’s side, having played 19 matches in all competitions.
His first Latics goal came in the 4-3 win over Accrington Stanley in December.
Gardner's initial deal expired last week, but he will stay on to help Latics hang on to their place in League One.
