The big centre-back hasn’t featured since being substituted at half-time during the 1-1 draw against Peterborough on March 5 with a groin injury. But he’s back in the fold for the important Easter period.

“Jason will possibly be involved at Swindon,” revealed boss Gary Caldwell.

“He’s trained with us for one day this week and we’ll see how he is.

“It will be great to have him back – he’s not just a big player, he’s also a big character and a leader.

“Even if he’s not out there on the pitch, it’s important he’s back in the dressing room.”

Caldwell also reported positive news on winger Michael Jacobs, who’s been out for over two months with a calf problem.

“Michael’s done great this week,” added Caldwell.

“He’s joined in a passing drill with us, and I’m hoping he’ll be close to full training next week.”

Meanwhile, youngster Louis Robles has joined non-league Gloucester City on loan for the rest of the season.
