Perkins: It's time to ground Bantams

The Bantams are flying at the moment, and gatecrashed into the top six at the weekend with 10 matches to go.

They even toppled long-time leaders Burton last week, thanks to a convincing 2-0 victory at Valley Parade.

And Perkins says Latics can’t afford to take anyone lightly, in a division where literally anything can 
and frequently does happen.

“You only need to look at Barnsley to see what can be done,” Perkins said.

“They looked like relegation candidates at one point, only to go on an unbelievable run, and suddenly they’re in the play-offs.

“Now Bradford are in there, and they showed what a good side they are by beating Burton.

“We’ve said all season that anyone can beat anyone in this league.

“We’ve got to make sure it’s not us on Saturday.”
