Power: We are our own worst enemy
Latics moved up a place to fourth in the League One table at the weekend, despite being held 1-1 at rock-bottom Crewe.
The visitors had dominated the game from the off, and were good value for a 1-0 lead given them by Reece Wabara’s superb early strike.

Latics were undone in similar fashion in the 1-0 home reversal against fellow promotion-challengers Burton back in November.
And Power says they must learn from their mistakes to ensure it doesn’t stop them achieving their goals at the end of the season.
“You could see Crewe were sat back almost waiting to get beat,” he told the Evening Post.

“It’s happened far too many times this season now, and it’s something we need to eradicate quickly.
“Sometimes we’re our own worst enemy at times.
“If we can just tweak that, and get it right, we’ll be okay.”
