Wigan Athletic 2020/21 fixtures revealed!

Latics will kick-off their campaign at Ipswich Town on September 12, and finish at home to Swindon on May 8.

Shrewsbury will visit the DW Stadium on Boxing Day, with Latics closing 2020 at Burton on December 29, and welcoming in 2021 at Swindon on January 2.

Gillingham will provide the opposition for the first home game on September 19, with Will Grigg and Max Power returning to the DW with Sunderland on March 13.

Disappointingly, both derbies with Blackpool will be on Tuesday nights - November 3 (a) and January 26 (h), while Latics are at Gillingham on Good Friday (April 2) and host Portsmouth on Easter Monday (April 5).

There will be midweek long-hauls to MK Dons (October 27), Lincoln (December 1), Bristol Rovers (February 23), Plymouth (March 9) and Shrewsbury (April 20).

The run-up to Christmas has at least been kind, with Accrington (December 12) and Rochdale (December 15) visiting the DW before Latics make the short trip to Fleetwood on December 19.
