Wigan Athletic defender faces lay-off

Antonee Robinson has been ruled out of Wigan Athletic's next two fixtures.

The 22-year-old left-back - who saw a dream move to AC Milan collapse on deadline day a fortnight ago - hasn't featured since the win over Sheffield Wednesday on January 28.

And he'll be forced to sit out this weekend's trip to Cardiff City, as well as the visit of Millwall on Saturday week.

"Antonee's not available for selection at the minute," revealed boss Paul Cook.

"He's picked up a little groin injury that's been a bit niggly that they (the medical staff) are telling us might be two weeks.

"He certainly won't make Saturday, and he won't make the Millwall game (the following weekend).

"After that, I would hope he would be back available for selection."
