Wigan Athletic FA Cup quarter-final date confirmed
There will be something of a clash with the Run Wigan Festival, which also takes place on that day.
But it’s hoped both events will be able to go ahead with the minimum disruption, with Wigan Council also involved in the planning.

“It could be great day for Wigan both locally and nationally. We hope that everybody enjoys the run and that Wigan beat Southampton.
“The event will go ahead, as will the match, it’s just a matter of fine-tuning our planning for what’s going to be a big day for Wigan. It’s something we thought might happen and therefore we made plans to deal with it.”
Tickets for the game, which go on sale this Friday, are priced £20 adults, £15 senior citizens, £10 under-18s and £5 under-11s.
