Wigan Athletic forward deal confirmed

The 26-year-old, who's scored twice in four outings for the Owls since joining them on loan in January, has been given permission by Latics to see out the campaign at Hillsborough.

Windass is currently out injured with a thigh injury he recently picked up in training.

But he is expected back on the field before long to play his part in the run-in.

Wednesday boss Garry Monk recently admitted he would look to make permanent this summer a deal for Windass, who has one year left on his Latics contract.
