Wigan Athletic goalkeeper extends stay
Goalkeeper Jamie Jones has signed a one-year contract extension with Wigan Athletic.
The 29-year-old, who kept nine clean sheets in 19 appearances during his debut campaign with Latics, was out of contract this summer.
But he’s agreed a similar 12-month deal to remain at the DW Stadium.
Jones kept eight of Wigan’s 27 League One clean sheets last term, during Christian Walton’s absence with a broken leg, and proved a more-than-able deputy.
