Scores on the doors!
5. LIAM MORRISON: 8
Compliments Hughes so well, never flustered on the ball, they have already formed a formidable central defensive partnership Photo: BP
6. TOM PEARCE: 8
Was again a massive danger to Carlisle with his range of crossing from the left, making his absence during last two seasons all the more baffling Photo: BP
7. BABA ADEEKO: 9
What a full league debut...dominated the midfield and created the goal with a wonderful dummy and driving 50-yards run, before perfectly-timed pass Photo: BP
8. MATT SMITH: 8
One blemish on his copybook, which unfortunately cost Latics two points, but otherwise faultless, grace personified in possession, and the glue that holds everything together Photo: BP
