Wigan Athletic stars come through practice game unscathed
Loan trio Leon Balogun, Alex Dobre and Jan Mlakar - as well as Young England star Joe Gelhardt - were among the Wigan Athletic players to benefit from a behind-closed-doors friendly against Fleetwood at the DW on Tuesday.
The game was arranged to get match minutes into the legs of those players who weren't involved from the start of Saturday's 2-0 victory at Huddersfield.
And those to get a run-out included Balogun and Dobre, who weren't fit enough to make the trip to the John Smith's Stadium.
Also involved were Jamie Jones, Jensen Weir, Kal Naismith, Tom Pearce, Lewis Macleod, Lee Evans, Michael Jacobs, Joe Garner, Emeka Obi, Ollie Crankshaw and Divin Baningime.
