Wigan Athletic stars to stay on for rest of season

Danny Fox, Anthony Pilkington, Lewis Macleod, Gary Roberts and Michael Jacobs have all agreed contract extensions with Wigan Athletic until the end of the season, while loan trio Kieran Dowell, Alex Dobre and Leon Balogun will also stay for the last eight games, and Joe Garner has signed a new one-year deal.

Latics remain in communication with Chey Dunkley with regards to a new contract, and in negotiations with Brightonand Jan Mlakar in respect of the forward extending his stay at the DW Stadium.

Dujon Sterling’s loan from Chelsea has now finished, and he returns to Stamford Bridge.
