Wigan Athletic will cause us 'different problems' - Reading boss

The Royals are only eight points clear of third-bottom Latics, who can drag their opponents into the relegation dogfight if they keep up their impressive recent run.

"Wigan won on Saturday against Millwall, so they'll be coming to us buoyant - and they will cause us different problems," acknowledged Bowen.

"We will have different expectations and problems to face in the next two home games, because we're expected to go and win them.

"We've got to embrace that expectancy, make sure we're up for the fight and do things right, make the right choices on the night and get the result we need and deserve.

"We'll pick the bones out of the Leeds match, then prepare for Wednesday and make sure we're ready for it, and ensure everybody's confident we can come away with the three points."
