My Racing tips for this afternoon's Haydock action

A circuit of just over a mile and a half, there is a six-furlong chute so that races over sprint distances can be run on a straight track.

My Racing Tips is going for these winners:

16:00 - Atalis Bay: Winning both his starts since a very promising debut, Marco Botti looks to have a useful one in Atalis Bay. He quickened clear impressively despite showing inexperience when scoring at Kempton on his latest outing. He’s gone up eight pounds for that, but five of it is negated by Stefano Cherchi’s claim. He’s highly progressive and a drop to five furlongs is unlikely to stop him from going close once more.

16:35 - Noble Masquerade: Doing all his best work late over 12 furlongs in two recent starts, Noble Masquerade should relish today’s step up in distance. He was pitched in deep waters at Ascot on his latest outing, sticking on pluckily in the closing stages. He’s dropped two pounds in the ratings and finds himself in a lower grade, which gives this lightly-raced three-year-old a great chance of breaking his maiden.

17:35 - Taawfan: She’s not looked the easiest in four starts to date, but Taawfan clearly has plenty of ability. She was having just her second handicap start when second at Kempton, not having the best of passages after being blocked at a crucial stage. She’s gone up five pounds for that, but after just four stats, Owen Burrows’ filly should have plenty more to offer with further racing.
