Adrian Lam plans to rest Wigan Warriors stars for St Helens derby


But he has promised fans that his young players will give "their absolute best" in the behind-closed-doors televised match at Salford.

Hide AdAnd given the importance of Saturday's Challenge Cup semi-final against Leeds, Lam is planning to rotate his squad.
"We'll play a different side on Tuesday night," he said.
"We have a plan in place but we'll know more after recovery."
He intends to select his side tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon. A 21-man squad will be confirmed the following day.
"Although Leeds in the semi-final is a priority - it's a St Helens-Wigan derby, and everyone knows what' they're like and whoever pulls the shirt on will give it their absolute best," he added.
