Adrian Lam reveals 21-man Wigan Warriors squad for St Helens derby

Adrian Lam is set to give Wigan debuts to at least two players in Tuesday's derby with St Helens.

The Warriors coach said after Friday's victory against Wakefield he would give some fringe players a chance against Saints - to protect his key players for Saturday's Challenge Cup semi-final against Leeds Rhinos.

And his 21-man squad, revealed today, features six players who have yet to make their debuts - Umyla Hanley, Ben Kilner, Sam Halsall, Kai Pearce-Paul, James McDonnell and Harry Rushton.

Elsewhere, Joe Bullock (hand) and Dom Manfredi (head knock) are back in the mix. Aussie halfback Jackson Hastings and hooker Sam Powell are included but Sean O'Loughlin, Liam Farrell, Oliver Gildart, Joe Burgess and Bevan French are among the frontline absentees.

His squad, which will be cut to 17 on matchday, is: Chris Hankinson, Sam Powell, Willie Isa, Ben Flower, Joe Greenwood, Joe Bullock, Liam Byrne, Dom Manfredi, Mitch Clark, Jake Bibby, Jake Shorrocks, Harry Smith, Jack Wells, Jackson Hastings, Amir Bourouh, Kai Pearce-Paul, Sam Halsall, James McDonnell, Harry Rushton, Umyla Hanley, Ben Kilner

Tuesday's derby at Salford kicks-off at 7.45pm and is live on Sky Sports. Salford host Warrington in the earlier kick-off (5.30pm).
