The full-back’s electric form since the season restarted has alerted NRL clubs.

When he was signed, it was stated he was contracted to Wigan until the end of 2021.

But he is wanted by clubs in his native Australia and another crack at the NRL may appeal to the 25-year-old, who had fallen out of favour at Parramatta before joining Wigan last summer.

Ironically, speculation over his future comes at a time when another Eels utility is thought to be heading to Wigan.

It is understood a deal with Jai Field has been agreed but Triple M radio reported yesterday he needs to play one more NRL game to qualify for a visa.

The utility, known for his pace, can play full-back or he could fill in at half-back if Thomas Leuluai retires or Jackson Hastings departs at the end of this year.

Wigan are also tracking halfback Josh Reynolds, amid reports Wests Tigers are willing to pay a section of his salary to leave, but no deal has been done.

The Warriors have already confirmed the signing of John Bateman on a marquee deal for 2021 while it is understood Toronto prop Brad Singleton will also join the club.

Meanwhile, Triple M also reported Shaun Wane is being considered for the North Queensland coaching role next year, which he would combine with his England duties.
