Coronavirus forces Shaun Wane's first meeting with England to be postponed

He was due to meet a long-list of candidates, including Wigan's Liam Farrell, Dom Manfredi, Oliver Gildart and Zak Hardaker, at Old Trafford next Monday.

But the meeting has been postponed by the RFL because of the coronavirus crisis. It will be "rearranged as soon as possible, consistent with Government advice," said the RFL.

There has been some suggestion in Australian media the three-Test Ashes series is under threat, as a plan to consider moving the lucrative State of Origin series to after the NRL Grand Final during the global pandemic.
