The fixtures for the campaign - set to restart next month - were due to be published today or tomorrow.

But the release has been pushed back because of complications.

Super League had previously confirmed the campaign - halted in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic - will restart on August 2 with three 'catch-up' games.

The first round of fixtures, which would involve Wigan, would take place the following week. The Warriors, top of the table, have 15 rounds remaining in addition to the Challenge Cup.

They are due to undergo testing next week ahead of a return to training on July 20.

Super League chiefs discussed the fixtures at a meeting today, when the issue of pay was also on the agenda. The BBC reports Hull FC's decision to pay players in full from October has led to unrest among players at other clubs, who are operating with a pay cut.
