Matty Peet’s side extended their unbeaten run at the start of the Super League season to four games, but it was far from easy.
For long periods of the game they were trailing to their French opponents, with a late Harry Smith drop goal needed to secure victory.
The game also marked Liam Marshall’s 100th appearance for the club while Jai Field scored a brace.
