“It’s my first venture into business so I’m learning a lot as we go, it’s a different world but we have some good people with us,” said the Yorkshireman, 28.

“All four of us have put our ideas in and what message we wanted to get across.

“As Luke retired first, he has taken more of a lead role and we trust him with that, but he speaks to us about major decisions and we’re all having our input.

“We’ve been wanting to do something together for about five years, so far it’s been great.”

a shipment of hoodies.

“Hopefully we’ll be doing deliveries to the UK soon, because there’s been a lot of interest already,” he said.

Burgess had started to make his mark in the Wigan side before the season was halted in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Players are due back in training next week ahead of the Warriors’ first match on the weekend of August 8.

“We have three kids under three, and you do start running out of things to do with them,” he grinned.

“But it’s good that we’ve now got some light at the end of the tunnel.”
