Jai Field will be "honoured" to play for Wigan Warriors
Jai Field has confirmed he has signed for Wigan.
It was already understood that the Aussie livewire was heading to the Warriors in 2021 after leaving Parramatta.
Until now, there has been no official confirmation over the move.
But Field has spoken about the prospect of playing for Wigan after signing a two-year deal.
"Wigan is a very prestigious club in rugby league circles and I feel honoured to get the chance to pull on their jersey," he told the South Coast Register.
Field, who is known for his pace, can play half-back or full-back and there is uncertainty about both of those spots at Wigan next season.
Bevan French is weighing up whether to sign a new deal with Wigan or return to the NRL.
Jackson Hastings is expected to leave and Thomas Leuluai has yet to decide whether to play on in 2021.
Field will become Wigan's second signing for 2021 along with John Bateman, who is returning after two years at Canberra.
