Joe Greenwood wanted by Huddersfield Giants

It is understood the Yorkshire club have set their sights on landing the 27-year-old forward for 2021.

Greenwood is under contract with Wigan for next season.

At the start of this year he slipped down the pecking order and even joined Leeds on loan, without playing any games due to lockdown.

But he finished the campaign strongly with Adrian Lam's side and returned from a two-game ban to take his place in the Grand Final squad.

It's thought new Huddersfield coach Ian Watson wants him on board to add some strike to his backrow.

Greenwood joined Wigan from Gold Coast Titans, having previously played in Super League with St Helens.
