John Bateman auctions boots for Mose Masoe

This round of Super League fixtures has been dedicated to Mose Masoe who suffered a serious spinal injury more than a year ago.

And afterwards, forward Bateman decided to auction his match boots to raise funds for the former Hull KR prop.

Bateman told Sky Sports: "With the round being dedicated to Mose, I'm going to put these up for auction.

"Anyone out there who wants to put a bid in, it will go to Mose and his family. It's only a small thing but every penny helps."

Masoe said he was "humbled" by the gesture.
