Places in Wigan Warriors side up for grabs, says Adrian Lam
Wigan head to Salford tomorrow for their first and only pre-season friendly ahead of the new Super League campaign.
All of his fit and available senior players – including returning forward John Bateman – will figure along with youngsters from an extended bench.

He admits he is close to finalising his strongest, first-choice side for their opening Super League match against Leigh on March 26.
But he said: “I’ve got a good idea of 14 players, so there are three spots there I’m uncertain about. For any of those players on the fringes this is a great chance to put their stamp on a game and say, ‘Look at me’.
“For the senior players, this friendly is more about getting their heads around the routine of pre-match, preparation, recovery and the rest of it.

“But there’s also a group of players there playing for an opportunity and this is a chance for them. I’m not bothered about the result to be honest.”
Today marks 12 months since Wigan played their last game in front of fans in the UK – at Salford.
