Ryan Hoffman reveals his top-five greatest ever team-mates

And he has no doubts that current Wigan skipper Sean O’Loughlin is one of the top-five greatest team-mates he has had.

He ranks ex-Kangaroos captain Cameron Smith the best player he has ever lined-up alongside.

But after that, he puts four others alongside each other in his top-five – with O’Loughlin place alongside Cooper Cronk, Billy Slater and Greg

Inglils.

“Lockers does not get the respect in the rugby league world that he should but he is a legend of our game, one of the most talented players – he could do it all,” Hoffman said in a wide-ranging interview with the Outlawed RL podcast.

“I really wish he’d have come to the NRL and everyone here had seen what a fantastic player he is.

“He’s in the top five I’ve played with... and in terms of leadership, I put him on par with Cameron Smith.”
