Sharks circling Charnley
Sale Sharks have made a bid for the prolific winger.
His deal runs out at the end of this season and, while the Warriors are thought to be keen to retain him, they face competition for his signature.
He has been linked with the Sharks in the past but this time there is more substance to their interest.

Hide AdCharnley has averaged nearly a try a game since breaking into the Wigan first-team in 2010.
The 24-year-old has become a huge crowd-pleaser and has earned international honours for England.
After dropping out of favour at Wigan last season, he has returned to form – which has not gone unnoticed by Sale, who are 8th in the Aviva Premiership table.
Shaun Wane’s former assistant Paul Deacon, and ex-Warriors conditioner Mike Forshaw, are on the staff at the Sharks, who ground-share with Salford at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Hide AdWigan don’t have many headaches in terms of the number of players coming off-contract, with a lot of their best and most promising players signed to long-term deals.
But forward Greg Burke and centre Dan Sarginson also see their deals expire at the end of this year.
Sarginson has attracted offers from NRL clubs Gold Coast Titans and Melbourne Storm.
