The Sharks are without Australian Test winger Valentine Holmes and and new signing Tony Williams through injury but coach Shane Flanagan’s squad includes former England forward Chris Heighington, veteran Kangaroos Paul Gallen and Luke Lewis and new recruits Jeremy Latimore and Daniel Mortimer.

Versatile New Zealand international Gerard Beale is favourite to slot into the full-back role in the absence of Holmes and the departed Ben Barba, with centre Jack Bird another option.
