They will clash at the John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield (2.30pm), with St Helens facing Salford at 5pm at the same venue.

Just a day after the Super League fixtures were announced, the RFL released details of the rescheduled Cup, confirming the quarter-finals for the weekend of September 19-20, the semi-finals for Saturday, October 3 and the final to follow two weeks later on Saturday October 17 (3pm).

But venues for those rounds have not been confirmed, meaning the final could move away from Wembley for the first time since 2006. Wembley has been provisionally booked in case limited crowds are allowed in by then.

The other big uncertainty is what will happen with five of the eight Round Six matches, in which Super League sides were drawn with lower league opposition.

Championship and League 1 clubs have not yet decided whether to restart their season but, if they scrap the rest of this campaign, then their top-flight opponents may be given a bye into the quarter-finals. The RFL says a decision will be made by the end of July.

Mark Foster, the RFL’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We will confirm the outstanding details, including the venue for the 2020 Coral Challenge Cup Final, as soon as possible – and we are grateful to those supporters who bought tickets for the original date in July for appreciating the unique circumstances which mean ongoing uncertainty.

“With increased optimism about the return of crowds to professional sport in the autumn we are still working through all venue options for all remaining rounds, to be able to react to any changes to the Government guidance over the coming weeks and months - and should the best option be to host the Final at Wembley Stadium we do have it provisionally booked for Saturday October 17.”

The sixth round draw was: Leeds Rhinos v Hull KR, Newcastle Thunder v Toronto Wolfpack, Salford Red Devils v St Helens, Sheffield Eagles v Hull FC, Wakefield Trinity v Featherstone Rovers, Widnes Vikings v Catalans Dragons, Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves, York City Knights v Castleford Tigers.
