Test and Trace analysis has been conducted – with no close contacts identified, in either the Wigan or Hull KR teams.

A 'close contact' is defined, in agreement with Public Health England, as a player having face-to-face contact with someone for three or more seconds.

Both teams will have further tests today but at this stage, both clubs plan to go ahead with their scheduled fixtures this week – Hull KR against St Helens at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday, and Wigan against Catalans Dragons at Stade Gilbert Brutus in Perpignan on Saturday.

Catalans Dragons and St Helens have been informed of the situation.

In each case, all the results were negative.

This means that both clubs are cleared to return to training this week, to prepare for the next round of scheduled Betfred Super League fixtures.
